Fresh Bluberry Whipped Butter Recipe

‘Fresh Blueberry Whipped Butter’ Recipe

Fresh blueberry season is in full-swing here at Pheasant Field Bed and Breakfast; whether you’re getting them fresh off the vine or fresh from the store, now is the time to satisfy that blueberry craving! Our Innkeeper Kit recently shared the most delectable-sounding fresh blueberry recipe for “Fresh Blueberry Whipped Butter”, which combines butter and a Fresh Blueberry Sauce into a light, fresh whip. Our mouths are watering too!

Both the Blueberry Sauce and the Blueberry Whipped Butter can be used with pancakes, scones, and many other sweet treats- but Kit gave us an insider tip on a special way to use the blueberry sauce: “If you strain the sauce, you can keep it in a squirt bottle. Cut a medium tip opening in the bottle to create pretty swirls or squiggles on the plate before serving”. The blueberry sauce will hold for about a week, and the butter will hold for about two- if they’re not eaten up before then!

We’re always making something fresh at the Inn, like our Toasted Coconut Buttermilk Waffles or ‘Kit’s Breakfast Hash of the Day’- when reserving a stay, remember to Book Direct!
