Fun Fall Festivals in Cumberland Valley, PA

It’s that time of year again; the leaves on the trees will be turning into stunning fiery colors, the pumpkin spiced lattes have replaced summer iced coffees, and we’ve started to dig out our boots and scarves again! Fall officially starts on September 22, 2018 and we’ve got a few fantastic fall Festivals in mind to help you celebrate this gorgeous season here in the Cumberland Valley. Oktoberfest
Each year the Carlisle Barracks holds the annual Oktoberfest where you can relish in four fun-filled days with your family! Participate in crazy contests, enjoy the Beer and Wine Garden, check out the local artists at the Arts and Crafts Fair, or have a thrilling day riding the carnival rides. There’s something here for everyone and (best of all) admittance is free!

The National Apple Harvest Festival
This festival is located about 45 minutes from Carlisle, but the jaunt is
completely worth your while! The National Apple Harvest Festival has been held annually for over 50 years and contains lovely family-oriented activities to enjoy such as arts and crafts booths,
delicious food, antique cars, orchard tours, and even a petting zoo!

The Stony Ridge Fall Festival is hosted right here in Carlisle at Stony Ridge Park! This local one-day event offers something for everyone, such as: hay rides, yummy fall foods, over 75 vendors, pumpkin carving, a BMX stunt show, face painting, etc! This exciting festival is also free of charge, so there’s no reason not to join in the festivities!
