About Us

Dee holds a BA from Wilson College and an MS from Shippensburg University. After working for the federal government in computer systems management - and lots of business travel in that position - she decided that there needed to be nicer places to stay than she had usually experienced on her business trips....and so Pheasant Field B&B was born. She is committed to supporting the hospitality industry and serves on various committees at the local, state, and national levels. Dee is the music director at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Mechanicsburg, and in her spare time, she likes to ski, kayak, and garden.

Chuck DeMarco (Dee's husband of 29 years!) holds a degree in accounting and retired from federal service, although Chuck says it’s not retirement, but rather a change in career. Chuck is quite a sports enthusiast and loves to watch sports on TV - all seasons! He is the primary caretaker for the feline friends you will find outside around the property.

…In memory of Bubba, the B&B dog…
Bubba was the all-American mutt, rescued from the West Shore Humane Society. He loved greeting the guests and helping with breakfast clean-up. Many of our guests have fond memories of Bubba’s “welcome” pose (asking for a treat) and time spent taking him for a walk. He is greatly missed by all of us at Pheasant Field B&B.

...In memory of "Flea", the back door cat...

Flea was the back door cat here at Pheasant Field B&B for almost 15 years.  He enjoyed some petting but he would let everyone know when he had enough of that! He was quite a character and we will miss his yellow eyes peering in the back door window as he waited for Chuck to feed him.
